Kantara Chapter 1 had a rampage on day 2 in Telugu states. Directed and led by Rishab Shetty, this spiritual action drama is having a superb hold in South India, and the two-day box office collections are out now.
The day 2 numbers are almost similar to day 1 in the Telugu states for the film, and in a few stations day 2 has reported more numbers than the first day. The film is likely to get another double-digit share today, and the trend is beyond expectations.
Kantara Chapter 1 box office performance for two days is superb, with the film holding strong in South India, whereas in North India the hold is not that strong, and the film needs a big weekend.
Overall on day 2 in India, the film has collected around 50 Cr gross, which takes the total India gross for 2 days to close to 125 Cr, and the worldwide gross will be around 150 Cr.
The movie needs to aim much higher than the opening day on day 3 and day 4 and has to target a 325 Cr+ weekend worldwide, and this figure is very much possible if Hindi sees a jump in the coming days.
