Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 is having very good days at the box office during the Diwali festival holidays, and the film, today on its 20th day, crosses the 750 Cr gross milestone.
Now the film is heading towards the 800 Cr gross milestone, and at the same time, the spiritual action drama is on the way to becoming the biggest grosser. Bollywood’s film, Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava stands as the current big grosser of the year with 800 Cr Gross.
With 750 Cr gross in 20 days, Kantara Chapter 1 performed exceptionally well in South belts and decently in Hindi markets. If the film’s Hindi area’s theatrical performance had matched South India’s performance, the film could have easily joined the mighty 1000 Cr club at the box office.
