This is a pan-India film and the makers are planning for the biggest-ever release of Manchu Vishnu’s career. The film has a huge star cast and big stars like Prabhas, Mohan Lal, Akshay Kumar, and many more stars from other industries feature in it.
When there’s such a massive star cast and highly sought-after crew, naturally the budget would be extremely high. However, with all the posters and content released so far, Kannappa looks more like a medium-budget film. No one’s sure where the team spent the budget but it’s surely not visible in the on content.
Mohan Babu’s poster as ‘Mahadeva Shastri’ was released today and even that lacks the grand feel and rich look that’s usually associated with pan-India film posters.
The story of ‘Kannappa’ revolves around the mythical warrior Kannappa, who is regarded as one of Lord Shiva’s greatest devotees, making him a legend among Mahadev worshipers. His path from hunter to warrior to saint earned him the moniker Nayanar.
