Manchu Vishnu’s ambitious pan-Indian mythological film ‘Kannappa’ is all set for a grand theatrical release on June 27. The actor is presently promoting the movie with various interviews, and in one of those recent interviews, the actor revealed Kannappa’s runtime.
He confirmed that ‘Kannappa’ has a locked runtime of 3 hours and 10 minutes after careful editing. Vishnu also stated that the film features a 12-minute war sequence, and it was tough to edit the film beyond the present runtime.
Pan-Indian star Prabhas will appear for 30 minutes in the film, and he features in a crucial episode of the movie, which is a powerful conversation scene with Mohan Babu. According to Vishnu, a few scenes of the Baahubali actor were trimmed during post-production.

Manchu Vishnu reveals Kannappa’s runtime, and he said that Malayalam actor Mohanlal appears in a 15-minute cameo, playing a key role in the story. This mythological film will also feature Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, and a huge star cast in crucial parts.
Mohan Babu produces the film on a pan-India level under the banners of Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory; the movie is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, known for directing the ‘Mahabharat’ series on Star Plus.
