The dream project of Manchu Vishnu, Kannappa, the devotional film, was released in theaters on 27th June, and it gathered huge numbers for the actor. Kannappa becomes Manchu Vishnu’s biggest grosser within its first weekend.

The 1st weekend worldwide gross of the film is likely to be around ₹30 Cr, with a share of around ₹15 Cr. It is the lifetime biggest grosser for Vishnu, but whether it is a good or bad weekend can only be judged based on the original budget.
