Kamal Haasan is now back to form all charged up after the blockbuster success of Vikram. The momentum is going in the veteran actor’s favour and this is why he has decided to get back to his long-delayed project Bharateeyudu 2.
He is looking for crazy projects to continue the same form. He knows that Bharateeyudu 2 will have a massive craze in all languages and he wants to start this film as quickly as possible. He recently even met Shankar to discuss this. The film is expected to go on sets again in next year. Now the producers are also looking positive to start the film as Kamal Hassan’s market is now back.
Before Vikram, Kamal Hassan’s recent movies took quite a beating at the box office. This is why makers were a bit cautious about putting big money on his films. Lyca Productions are bankrolling this prestigious project. However, there have been way too many budgetary clashes between Shankar and the production house.
Because of this, the movie faced many legal issues and Lyca Productions even filed a case against director Shankar. The legal troubles for Shankar started with Lyca Productions accusing him of charging Rs 40 crore as remuneration and not proceeding with the film at a satisfactory pace.
Now with everything getting resolved, let’s hope the movie picks up the pace and the shooting resumes.
