Kamal Haasan’s magnum opus Indian 2 has got everyone on the edge. Fans are eagerly waiting to experience Shankar’s visual grandeur on the big screen and the recently released Indian 2: Intro has confirmed that this film will be a true spectacle. Meanwhile, as Indian 2 is approaching its post-production stage, talks of Indian 3 have also started.
Till now, there was just buzz but the makers did not announce anything officially. But now, this is official. During his birthday celebrations, Kamal revealed “Once Indian2 & Indian3 releases it will pave the way to political platform.” Due to excessive footage the team has decided to go with Multiple parts & both will be released next year
Producer of Indian 2, Udhayanidhi Stalin, has already revealed that director Shankar has a significant amount of unused footage and that there is a thought about ‘Indian 3’, but nothing is fixed yet. “The filmmakers have told me that they have a lot of footage
shot for the film. Kamal sir and Shankar sir are very happy,” said Udhayanidhi a few months ago.
As per reports that surfaced a few months ago, there are around 6 hours of total shooting footage, and still few scenes are pending. The unit is now planning to release it in 2 parts which means Indian 3 is definitely on the cards.
