Kalki 2898 AD Telugu version is creating a storm at the box office and has achieved a massive milestone within just 5 days of its release. The sci-fi action project has crossed the Rs 200 crore barrier as day 5 brought in Rs 11.5 crores.
The stupendous show of the movie across 5 days has taken the total Telugu states’ share to around Rs 122 Cr and the worldwide share to around Rs 200 Cr (Telugu version only). With this, Prabhas has scored 2 back to back Rs 200 crore share films through Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD. Salaar Telugu version had earlier collected Rs 213.5 crores.
Looking at the current trend, the Kalki 2898 AD Telugu version will easily cross Salaar Telugu closing share in 1st week itself. The film will easily join the Rs 250 Cr club by this weekend itself. Only Rajamouli films Baahubali2 and RRR are in the Rs 250 crore club and this will be a massive achievement for Nag Ashwin as well.
Kalki 2898 AD had a massive target to achieve but looking at the current performance it looks like the film is on its way to becoming a massive hit. The film has to gross a minimum of 800 crores worldwide to become a hit. If all goes well, Kalki 2898 AD may even touch the 1000 crore mark worldwide.
