Kalki 2898 AD, latest Prabhas starrer is rocking the box office. The film has managed to break box office records in the overseas market as well. It had already established record for premeries and achieved a consecutive $1 Million for 5 days there. Now it looks Kalki 2898 AD is all set to join the coveted $20 Million club in the overseas market in its full run.
Only few films were able to achieve this feat. Baahubali series and RRR were only under this club till now which were also directed by SS Rajamouli. Kalki 2898 AD all set to joining this club would also make it the first Non-Rajamouli film to have breached this mark. No other film from South India has managed to touch this record as well. Kalki 2898 AD is also seemed to be joining the $25 Million club if the same performance continues. The film is also looking stronger than RRR and trending better than it.
North America region also accounts to 2/3rd of revenue generated out of the overseas market for the film. If the film continues the same momentum in North America then it may well get the whole $20 Million alone here. Only Baahubali managed to get $20 Million from North America alone and Kalki 2898 AD looks to touch this record.
