Made as a crime thriller, Mammootty’s KamalKaval is an experimental movie where the veteran actor plays a psycho killer role, which is receiving very well at the Box office, and the film opens with 15 Cr gross collections worldwide.
The movie collected 5 Cr gross in Kerala, and 1 Cr in the rest of India, while overseas contributed a sensational number of 9.7 Cr gross collections. This is the 8th biggest opener ever for Mollywood and the 2nd biggest opening for Mammootty after Turbo (16.2 Cr).
The film is holding extraordinarily well today as well, and the trade expects it to do big numbers in the long run, and it also has a chance to become Mammootty’s career biggest grosser.
