Kiran Abbavaram delivered his career’s biggest success with KA. The film was well appreciated by critics and it also did well at the box office. The film created great positive buzz before release and was successful in drawing the audience to theatres.
After the OTT release, there was a widespread discussion stating the film is overrated and didn’t intrigue as it was expected. On its Television premiere, the film delivered a shockingly poor result. Interestingly, a sequel to KA was also announced after its theatrical success.
On its World Television Premiere on ETV, KA got a meager 2.15 TRP in urban & 2.11TRP in urban+rural. This is the least of the all three Diwali 2024 releases which includes Amaran and Lucky Baskhar as well.
