Prashanth Neel’s epic action drama film Salaar: Part-1 was an average grosser at the box-office. Despite its minor losses, the film succeeded in reviving Prabhas’s disastrous career scoring three continous failures. A sequel titled ‘Salaar: Part-2’ has been on cards and will go on floors from May end, according to Prabhas’s PR team.
But, it looks like things aren’t that simple anymore. It must be noted that Neel has been signed to direct a film for ‘Mythri Movie Makers’ starring Jr. NTR in lead role. According to fans, an official announcement regarding this will be made on NTR’s birthday i.e 20th May, 2024.
If this turns out to be true, then there’s no way Salaar-2 could go on floors anytime soon. In simple terms, the Prabhas-starrer will be postponed indefinitely. This will be big disappointment for the ‘Rebel Star’ fans since they pinned high hopes on this project. It must be seen how things turn out at the end.
