Journey of RRR: From the Weakest work of Rajamouli to winning Oscars

When RRR film was released, many audience and critics stated that it was the weakest work of Rajamouli, and they also tried to project that the movie had only survived because of Rajamouli’s brand and the stars in the lead roles, Ram Charan and NTR’s performance.

Especially for the flashback episode, the feedback was very negative and everyone told it was not in the standards of Rajamouli. But when the film was streamed on Netflix, everything started changing as the international audience started praising the RRR movie and from there it went to another level and now even it won the Oscar Awards in the Best Original Song Category. It created history by becoming the first Indian produced film to win an Oscar award.

We have to appreciate the vision and passion of Rajamouli. Because of his gut feeling and handwork only RRR has achieved the global recognition today. Content wise, he had made the film an action epic with many terrific action sequences and heartwarming emotion between the two major characters, Ram and Bheem.

Also, we can say that no one can match SS Rajamouli’s planning and efforts to make his film reach the wider section of the audience. Even after the Indian federation did not select RRR as the official entry from Indian country to the Oscars, he was not disappointed and tried again by attempting to the Oscars through the FYI campaign.

We sincerely wish Rajamouli for his enormous contribution to the RRR’s journey on the international stage. We hope he gets to win more fame and accolades with his next film with Superstar Mahesh Babu which he has already hinted to be a globe-trotting adventure.
