Jawan Telugu version opens bigger than Tamil

Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan is setting the box-office on fire, with massive openings on cards for both day 1 and the following weekend. The film is doing exceptionally well in all languages and is on its way to establishing several opening records in Bollywood. The morning shows were attended by crowds all over the city, while the rest of the shows were also packed for the entire day in a vast majority of centers. The most surprising thing is Jawan’s Telugu version opens bigger than the Tamil language.

Everyone is aware that the director of the film, Jawan, Atlee is a Tamil director. The film unit had a grand audio launch in Chennai as well. So it was obvious for the trade circles to expect the openings to be huge in Tamil with the brand Atlee.

As per the expectations, it opens with big numbers in Tamil but In Telugu, it is way bigger than Tamil. As per the trade reports, a very high number is on cards for Jawan in Telugu states and the number is said to be more than 50% of Tamil Nadu. The same is the case with the other states as at the Overseas as well. The Telugu version’s occupancies are remarkably better than Tamil overall.

Atlee’s Jawan is an out-and-out mass entertainer, which is in line with Shankar’s vigilante action dramas. The commercial elements have come out really well by Atlee’s grand vision combined with Anirudh’s roaring BGM combined with King Khan’s unmatched screen presence and performance have succeeded in delivering a successful mass entertainer. Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupahthi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, among others, are also featured in the film.
