Shahrukh Khan has set the box-office on fire with Jawan. The film has made a record opening and as per estimates, he has surpassed his own record of highest day 1 which he set earlier this year with Pathaan. Apart from King Khan’s stardom, a large credit of the movie also goes to Atlee’s grand vision and commercial elements that have been presented in an exciting manner.
The word of mouth played a massive role in giving the film such a momentum. The final WOM for the film is a blockbuster in Hindi belts. In South Indian territories such as Telugu states, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, the film has mixed talk as the audience here is quite accustomed to mass elements and heroic elevations.
This was a new experience for the northern audience who have never witnessed Shahrukh in this kind of role and with such amazing elevations. On the other hand, many down the south have categorized Jawan as the weakest film of Atlee till date.
Atlee’s Jawan is an out-and-out mass entertainer quite on lines with Shankar’s vigilante action dramas. The commercial elements have come out really well and Atlee’s grand vision and Anirudh’s roaring BGM combined with King Khan’s unmatched screen presence and performance have succeeded in delivering a successful mass entertainer. The film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupahthi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra among others.
