Tamil hero Vijay’s Jana Nayagan was officially announced for a 9th January release. The team had also planned to release a single last week, but due to the Karur stampede, they canceled the update. Now, there are rumors that the release of Jana Nayagan itself is in doubt.
The latest buzz in Tamil circles hints that Vijay’s Jana Nayagan’s release is in doubt if the controversy or case surrounding the Karur Stampede isn’t resolved this month.
It is clear that Vijay or the movie’s cannot do any promotions until Vijay’s party – Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) or his name gets cleared from the stampede incident.
However, the closed sources to the production house deny these rumors and say that they are confident to release the film on 9th January without any issues or delays and promotions will start from November.
But we have to wait for a few more days to be sure about anything as in politics any issue can be escalated to a bigger extent.
