The team is planning to apply again after making a few cuts and muting some scenes, hoping it gets approval this time. If the film does not clear censorship, it will be a big loss in the GCC market, which is the second biggest market for a Vijay film after the UAE.

After facing issues in the domestic censoring, Vijay’s Jana Nayagan has been banned in Saudi Arabia. The reasons are unknown, but certainly, it has come as a shocking revelation to the team and fans.

Directed by H. Vinoth, the movie is backed by Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions. Jana Nayagan stars Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Pooja Hegde, and others in key roles, and it is an official remake of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari (2023).
