Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 has collected ₹217 Cr gross worldwide in two days. The Day 2 number came in even better than the early estimates. The biggest highlight is overseas, where the film has already crossed ₹100 Cr.

Day 2 Beats Estimates
Jailer 2 opened with ₹130 Cr worldwide on Day 1. Day 2 has added about ₹87 Cr, well above the ₹80 Cr estimate. For a working day, that’s a massive hold.
Overseas Is on Fire
Overseas has been the standout. Jailer 2 has collected ₹102 Cr outside India in just two days, almost as much as its entire India total of ₹115 Cr.
Day 2 alone brought in about ₹44 Cr overseas, even more than Day 1’s ₹58 Cr pace suggested. Crossing ₹100 Cr overseas in two days puts Jailer 2 in a league of its own among Tamil films.
Tamil Nadu Leads India
Tamil Nadu is the biggest market in India with ₹40 Cr in two days. The state added about ₹16 Cr on Day 2.
Kerala Edges Past Karnataka
Kerala and Karnataka are neck and neck. Kerala has collected ₹20.75 Cr and Karnataka ₹20.5 Cr. Kerala, which was behind on Day 1, has now nudged ahead thanks to a stronger Day 2.
Telugu States Steady
Andhra Pradesh (₹13.5 Cr) and Telangana (₹11 Cr) have together collected ₹24.5 Cr. The rest of India has added ₹9.25 Cr.
₹300 Cr Today
With Saturday looking even bigger, Jailer 2 is set to cross ₹300 Cr worldwide today, matching Coolie as the fastest Tamil film to get there. With Sunday and the Dasara holidays ahead, a ₹500 Cr first week is well within reach.
