Prasanth Varma announced Jai Hanuman, the sequel to HanuMan (2024), a year back, but still, the film has not started the shoot, much to the disappointment of the fans. The filming of this eagerly awaited movie is about to commence soon.
HanuMan, released on Sankranthi 2024, emerged as a massive blockbuster, which collected close to 300 Cr gross worldwide. Its sequel, Jai Hanuman, was planned as an immediate film, but due to many reasons, it was postponed.
The movie was announced with Rishabh Shetty as the lead, but he has been too busy with Kantara 2 till now. During that time, Prasanth Varma began a project with Ranveer Singh, but it was shelved. He was also scheduled to direct Mokshagna’s debut film, which was also shelved for unknown reasons.
Because of all this chaos, Prasanth Varma did not direct any film after HanuMan. Now, finally, all issues have been cleared for Jai Hanuman, and the movie is all set to start the shoot and go on floors very soon.
Rishabh Shetty is said to have allotted the dates also for the film, and Varma has already completed the full script and most of the pre-production work for the film. So it will go on floors very soon, and it will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
