Maverick Music Director Ilaiyaraaja has sent a legal notice to the producers of the recently released Malayalam blockbuster, Manjummel Boys. The film used his composition of the song, Kanmani Anbodu from Guna starring Kamal Haasan. He wants the song removed from the film and expects compensation for unauthorized usage of his work.

The team of Manjummel Boys is known to have already legally brought the rights from the Music Company. But Ilaiyaraaja has claimed copyright and wants compensation.
