Young hero Ashwin Babu was introduced to the Telugu film industry as the brother of famous anchor Omkar. He started his career as a second hero with the film, Genius, which was directed by Omkar. He came before the audiences with a new film titled Hidimbha was released recently. Now, the latest information is that the film will stream on OTT from this week.
Ashwin Babu’s Hidimba, which was released in theaters on July 20, received a mixed response from the audiences and critics as well. Nandita Swetha is the heroine of the film. Produced by Gangapatnam Sridhar under the banner of Vignesh Karthik Cinemas, Hidimba is directed by Anil Kanneganti. Presented by Anil Sunkara on AK Entertainment banner.
The latest official announcement of Hidimbha OTT release has been made by the Aha Video. Hidimbha will be streaming on August 10 at 7 pm on Aha, which is a 100 percent Telugu OTT platform. “Hidimba’s hunt is about to begin. Get ready for a scary blockbuster,” Aha announced the OTT release date and time of the film.
Hidimbha, which was released in theaters on July 20, will hit OTT in just 20 days. The film deals with the police’s investigation to crack the case of missing women in the city. The film also stars Srinivasa Reddy, Makarand Deshpande, Rajeev Kanakala, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Raghu Kunche, Sahithi Avancha, Sanjay Swaroop and Vidyullekha Raman in key roles. The music is composed by Badisa Vikas.
The movie had received mixed word of mouth from the audiences upon its theatrical release and was unable to do well at the box office. The movie became a big flop, but it was liked by a few sections of the audience as they liked the core concept and the flashback. So, this film might work in its digital release and get some response from the OTT viewers.
