Hero Nikhil confirms Happy Days re-release in theatres

It seems like the re-release trend in Tollywood will not be stopped anytime soon. This Friday, on 22nd September, 7G Brundavan Colony is set to be released again in theaters. Now another youthful entertainer, Happy Days, is all set to be released again as the film’s one of the leads, Nikhil confirms it through his latest tweet.

Nikhil Siddhartha, who became famous nationwide due to the massive success of Karthikeya 2, is currently juggling multiple big pan India projects, including Swayambhu and The Indian House. The actor has almost confirmed the re-release of his first film as a lead actor, Happy Days, today.

In 2007, Happy Days, directed by Sekhar Kammula, was originally released at theaters and achieved a humongous success at the box office. The film is now set to return to the silver screen after 18 years. Nikhil reached out to his fans to check their interest in re-releasing the movie in theaters, and the response was overwhelmingly “yes!” by the way.

This implies that there’s a chance to see the youthful college drama again on the big screen, with much superior quality. The film’s 18th anniversary is coming up on September 28, 2023, which could be the perfect time to re-release it. This exciting prospect still needs official confirmation from the makers.
