Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will be next seen in a comedy drama titled ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. It features Genelia D’Souza as the female lead. Without much noise, the project has been in production for a while.
As officially announced by R. S. Prasanna, the film’s director, the entire shooting part has been wrapped up. While other cast and crew details remain unknown, sources claim that this is an official remake of the Spanish sports drama Campeones (2018).
A highly acclaimed film, it narrates the tale of a basketball coach who decides to work with a team of mentally disabled children as part of community service. It can be said that this is a spiritual sequel to the cult classic Taare Zameen Par (2008).
