Hanuman is the first movie in Prashant Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU). In a recent interview, director Prasanth Varma revealed that there will be 12 films in the PVCU.

Teja Sajja played the role of a young man who acquires supernatural powers due to Lord Hanuman in the film Hanuman. The movie is slated to be released on January 12, 2024, on the occasion of Sankranthi. Apart from Telugu, the film will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese and Chinese.
