Hombale Films Takes Hanuman Ansh Global on September 11

The surprise Bollywood hit Hanuman Ansh is making waves beyond Indian borders. The low-budget devotional film, made for just ₹2 crore, has turned into a box office sensation and is now set for a worldwide release by Hombale Films on September 11, 2026.

BookMyShow Record and Box Office Success

Since its August 7 release, Hanuman Ansh has defied all expectations. The film has sold over 1.5 million tickets on BookMyShow, with approximately 248,000 tickets purchased in a single 24-hour period—surpassing many pan-Indian and regional blockbusters during that window.

At the box office, the Hindi biographical drama has crossed the ₹47 crore gross mark domestically, a phenomenal achievement for a film that opened with minimal buzz and modest screen count.

Hombale Films Announces Worldwide Distribution

As Hanuman Ansh approaches the end of its fourth weekend in Indian theatres, production powerhouse Hombale Films—known for distributing blockbusters like KGF and Kantara—has announced it will release the film internationally through its overseas division, Hombale Overseas.

The worldwide release is scheduled for September 11, 2026, bringing the inspiring story of Neem Karoli Baba to global audiences.

The Story of Neem Karoli Baba

Hanuman Ansh chronicles the life of Neem Karoli Baba, also known as Maharaj-ji, a revered spiritual figure whose influence reached far beyond India. The film’s global appeal is rooted in its subject—Neem Karoli Baba has inspired notable figures including Steve Jobs, who visited India in 1974 seeking spiritual guidance connected to Maharaj-ji, and Mark Zuckerberg, who later visited Kainchi Dham following advice from Jobs.

Directed by Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi, the devotional biographical drama stars Shobhinaw Satyaa in the lead role. The film is produced by Swambhu Media Network and Holy Cow Home Productions.
