This weekend has been great for films in the Indian Box Office. All the films that released this weekend in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and English releases have had a great start at the box office. The Hollywood film, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire too is rocking at the box office. Its collections and details are as follows:
The film is a direct sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong released in 2021. This film did well in India and likewise, it attained a cult status as well. So the sequel too grabbed everyone’s attention and picked up hype after its trailer release. Now, the film released on March 29th and opened to a great number. Godzilla X Kong managed to gross more than 12 crores. The film has managed to become the highest-grossing opening weekend film for a Hollywood film in India.
The film has collectively grossed more than 37 crores by the weekend. It was released in all of the major Indian languages on 2865 screens across the country. This film faced great competition with Bollywood films, Crew, Telugu film, Tillu Square, and The Goat Life from Malayalam as well. But the film managed to do well which is considered a great performance.
