Like every weekend, the moviegoers waited for new digital releases this week. To their excitement, there were many movies released on OTT this week, including Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly and Nithin’s Robinhood. However, the five new OTT releases felt like a torture for the viewers.
After the rise of the OTT market, the audiences are not going to theatres for all movies. If a movie fails to create some interest or its WOM is not good, audiences are waiting for the film to arrive on OTT to watch.
Because of this, many films which did not work theatrically got some good response from OTT audiences. Including Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly (Netflix) and Nithin’s Robinhood (ZEE5), this week had major 5 releases on OTT.
Along with the above mentioned movies, Tamannaah’s Odela 2 released on Prime Video, Pradeep’s Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi is available on ETV Win, while Siddhu’s Jack is available on Netflix.
The five new OTT releases felt like a torture for the viewers. All the five films did not do well at telugu box office and ended up as big disasters. But due to good star presence the people waited for the OTT release.
However, after watching them, the viewers felt that not even a single film was engaging. Every film was unbearable to watch, and the films are getting huge backlash after OTT release.
