Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter was released over the Republic Day weekend amidst low buzz and decent reviews. The film couldn’t manage to create the kind of hype the makers would have expected and they hoped that the positive word of mouth could save the film.
The film is noticing good growth as the positive word of mouth is spreading. It held very well on day 3. In India, the day is bigger than the opening day. So far, the trend is day 2 > day 3 > day 1. In Overseas day 3 was the biggest one for the film.
On its first day, Fighter collected 24.6Cr Net and on the second day, it witnessed a big jump and collected 41.20Cr. For the first 2 days, the film’s all-India Net is 66Cr and Gross is 78Cr+. On its day 3, the film collected Rs 27.60 Cr. The total nett stands at Rs 93.40 Cr, and the gross is 110Cr+.
From overseas markets, the day1 collected $ 1M while Day 2 brought in $1.7M, and Day 3 was the most successful one with $2.5M approx. Total Overseas gross is around $ 5.2 million (43 Cr+). The total worldwide gross is around 154Cr for 3 days. The makers will be hoping to round off the weekend collections on a strong note and hope that Sunday (day4) continues this upward trend.
The action drama features an impressive star cast of Hrithik, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor and is directed by Siddharth Malhotra whose earlier film Pathan was one of the biggest blockbusters of 2023.
