Rumours recently spread across social media claiming that veteran Bollywood actor Rajesh Sharma was bitten by a venomous insect while shooting for Fauzi at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
Team Issues Official Clarification
Putting an end to the speculation, Rajesh Sharma’s personal assistant Subhashish Panda released a video clarifying that the reports are completely false.
According to Panda, Rajesh Sharma has not suffered any serious infection. He explained that the actor experienced slight swelling in his leg due to diabetes, which required brief hospitalization as a precaution. Sharma is recovering well and is expected to be discharged within the next one or two days.
Panda stated that all reports claiming something happened to Rajesh Sharma during the Fauzi shoot in Hyderabad are completely baseless.
“I am always with Rajesh Sharma wherever he goes. Nothing of this sort happened in Hyderabad. Some people are spreading these false stories only to serve their own interests,” Panda said.
Appeal Against Fake News
He appealed to the public and social media users not to circulate unverified or fake news and urged everyone to verify facts before sharing such reports.
Fauzi is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and stars Prabhas in the lead role. Mythri Movie Makers is funding the project on a large scale.
