The much-awaited sequel to Raj and DK’s popular crime-thriller series Farzi is finally taking shape. The show recently completed three years since its release, and the creators have officially confirmed that Farzi 2 is currently in development.
A few days ago, Shahid Kapoor teased fans by revealing a glimpse of his new look, hinting that filming for the sequel may begin soon. Adding to the excitement, the actor shared a photo with creators Raj and DK, confirming his return for the next season.
The makers dropped the official announcement of Farzi 2 on the show’s 3rd anniversary
On February 10, marking the third anniversary of Farzi’s premiere, filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., popularly known as Raj & DK, announced that work on Farzi 2 is underway. They shared a picture of a large stack of fake currency on their official X (formerly Twitter) account with the caption, “Round 2 in progress. Farzi.”
Farzi premiered on Amazon Prime Video in February 2023 and received strong appreciation for its gripping storyline and powerful performances. The series starred Shahid Kapoor in the lead role, along with Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, and Kavya Thapar.
