Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 is still running with good numbers, and on the weekends, the film shows a very big jump, and that is why the fans are upset over the early OTT release of the film. 

Even on the last weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, the spiritual action drama posted more than double-digit gross. The film crossed the 800 Cr gross mark worldwide and had a good chance to reach the 850 Cr mark too.

This is also making the people feel a bit hard done by, as they are going to theaters and spending a good amount of money, but those movies are immediately arriving on OTT platforms. Due to these reasons only, there is a huge decline in theatrical runs and footfalls.

Producers and industry people continuously say that the theatrical market is going down, but they are to blame, as they are making the same mistake again and again.
