If rumours are to go by, Vamshi Paidipally’s next venture will be in Hindi. The director has reportedly narrated a script to Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor, and the latter is known to be impressed with it. If this project materialises, it will mark the Hindi debut of the director.
Shahid is currently basking in the success of his recent flick, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024), a romantic comedy starring Kriti Sanon as the female lead. Paidipally, on the other hand, has been out of work despite the commercial success of his previous venture, Varisu (2023).
Ace producer ‘Dil’ Raju is reportedly keen to bankroll this project. As we all know, Paidipally was heavily trolled by fans across languages for his lacklustre TV-serial-type films. It must be seen how the Maharshi (2019) director handles this criticism.
