ETV Win Lands in Caste Controversy

ETV Win’s latest web series, AIR (All India Rankers), started streaming a few days back, and it is receiving a good response for the content. However, ETV Win lands in caste controversy because of the AIR web series.

The series is about hostels and students’ lives, and the caste part is also involved in it. This has hurt a section of viewers, as they felt they were targeted.

Even though such kinds of disputes or fights happen in real life, making fun of a particular caste, i.e., ‘chowdary,’ is certainly a mistake on the part of the streaming platform.

The Public’s Favorite Platform, ETV Win Lands in an Unexpected Caste Controversy

ETV Win lands in a caste controversy because of the AIR web series. The producer, Sandeep Raj, also faced the heat along with the digital platform, and they apologized to the hurt ones.

The digital platform said that from now on it will make sure that no particular community or caste of people will be hurt by its content.

The viewers could not believe that such a kind of caste comedy was streaming on ETV Win, as Ramoji Rao belonged to the same caste, and everyone saw him as an ICON.

AIR (All India Rankers) is a coming-of-age web series featuring Harsh Roshan in the lead. On Sunday, the makers announced the release date for the series. It is produced by Colour Photo fame Sandeep Raaj in association with Surya Vasupalli.

Debutant Joseph Clinton Chevveti is the writer and director of the show. While Bhanu Prakash and Jayatheertha play the other two leads, the ensemble cast includes prominent names like Harsha Chemudu, Ramana Bhargav, Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Jeevan Kumar, Akshara, and Sunil. Producer Sandeep Raj appears in a significant role as well.
