Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, the latest superhero film from Malayalam Cinema, has become a huge blockbuster at the box office. The film is running successfully in theaters even in the Telugu version. Dulquer Salmaan, the producer, talks about the budget of the film in the success meet.
Last night in Hyderabad, they held a success party for the superhero movie featuring Kalyani Priyadarshan. Kalyani Priyadarshan, the leading lady, showed up at the event along with director Dominic Arun, hero Naslen, and producer Dulquer Salmaan.
Dulquer talked about the movie’s budget in his speech. Everyone knows that Lokah’s team dropped about Rs. 30-40 crore on this project.

“I know everybody thinks Lokah is a tiny budget film. But in Malayalam what we spend on Lokah is similar to King of Kotha, Kurup, etc. For us it’s a big budget; we haven’t wasted a single penny, wherever it is spent on the screen. All the profits of Lokah Part 1 & other parts, I’m going to share with all of the team. Because they are truly deserving of this. For Part 1 there are zero expectations, even for the teaser & trailer. We have more responsibility now to deliver big for other parts.”
Meanwhile, the fans are super curious about when the next chapter of the Lokah universe is dropping. But we have to wait until the director, Dominic Arun, opens up about it.
