Film by film, Pradeep Ranganathan is emerging as a major star. Dude did not even have a solo release— in Tamil, it released alongside Bison and Diesel, yet Kantara Chapter 1 is still running successfully and seeing very big collections. In Telugu, it released alongside K Ramp, Mithra Mandali, and Telusu Kada, but it remains the top grosser in the Telugu states for the weekend.
With tomorrow and Tuesday being holidays, and Diwali being a major festival in Tamil Nadu, there is no doubt that the film will enter the ₹100 Cr club. Pradeep Ranganathan is all set to score a hat-trick of ₹100 Cr grossers. How it holds after Diwali will determine whether it can surpass Dragon Fullrun in total collections or not.”
