‘Mass Ka Das’ Vishwak Sen was last seen in a crime drama titled ‘Gangs of Godavari’. Released amidst a good buzz, this film posted good opening numbers at the box office. However, the poor word-of-mouth has led to its underperformance in the long run.
After ending up as a loss-making venture for buyers, it premiered on the streaming platform Netlfix in just two weeks since its theatrical release. While the makers expected improved reviews from the OTT audience, the opposite happened.
The screenplay, editing, and even Vishwak Sen‘s performance attracted widespread criticism from viewers. Helmed by Krishna Chaitanya, it features Neha Shetty and Anjali as the female leads. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the tunes for Gangs of Godavari (2024).
