Director PA Ranjith updates about Vikram health condition

It is very well known to everyone that Chiyaan Vikram was injured during a rehearsal of Thangalaan, his upcoming film. According to his publicist, it was reported that Vikram will take a break from the shooting of Pa Ranjith’s Thangalaan for a while. In an official note, Vikram also thanked everyone who had supported him and praised him for his performance.

As Vikram was injured on the sets of PA Ranjith’s Thangalaan, the director gave an update about Vikram’s health today in Udayanidhi Stalin’s upcoming movie, Mamamannan’s audio launch event. He said Vikram has recovered now, and he is in a jolly mood. He also informed they are planning the last schedule of Thangaalan from 15th June and only 12 days of shooting is pending.

Coming to Mamannan, it is directed by Pariyerum Perumal fame Mari Selvaraj, Mamannan is a movie starring Vadivelu, Udayanidhi Stalin, Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh and others. The music of this film is composed by A.R. Rahman. Red Giant Films is producing the film with Theni Eshwar as the cinematographer.

The shooting of the film started in March last year and ended in September. While the shooting of the film has been going on for 110 days, there are reports that the film is going to hit the theaters on the 29th of this month.

The grand music release ceremony of Mamannan was held today at 6 pm at the Nehru Sports Arena, Chennai. At this music launch event, Kamal Haasan, Pa. Ranjith, Santosh Narayanan, H. Vinod, Murugadoss, Vijayakumar, Vijay Antony, Nanjil Sampath, producers Kalaipuli Thanu, Thenandal Murali, K. Rajan and many others participated as special guests.
