Sindhooram tells us the story of Bulliraju, (Brahmaji) who is in training to become a police officer. He is hot-blooded and has a strong sense of justice. Buliraju is from a small village close to the Godavari river. Baby (Sanghavi) niece of Bulliraju loves him and wants to marry him. He too has the same feelings but doesn’t reciprocate about it to her.
Chanti (Raviteja), Bairagi, Satipandu and others are wayward youth who live in the same village. They spend their time playing cards, drinking and teasing girls. They are all friends with Bulliraju. Few incidents force Bulliraju to change the path of life and Chanti తో joins him. What happened to them in the end forms the rest of the story.
Raviteja was working very hard to support his family with his assistant director’s job and his minor roles in films back then. That was, until the character of a lifetime came knocking at his door. He finally got a chance to put his acting abilities to the test in ‘Sindhooram’. Raviteja was 29 when he landed the act of Chanti that capitulated him into stardom.
