Dhurandhar Story Overview

Set against real events like the IC-814 hijacking in 1999 and the Parliament attack in 2001, the film follows Ajay Sanyal, the Chief of India’s Intelligence Bureau. He launches a daring mission to break the terrorist network in Pakistan by infiltrating Karachi’s underworld. At the same time, a 20-year-old boy from Punjab, imprisoned for a revenge crime, catches Sanyal’s attention.

Madhavan plays Ajay Sanyal, the intelligence chief. Arjun Rampal appears as Major Iqbal from Pakistan’s ISI, known as the “angel of death.” Akshaye Khanna plays Rehman Dakait, and Sanjay Dutt portrays SP Chaudhary Aslam and both characters are from Pakistan. Sara Arjun joins Ranveer Singh in a crucial role.

The film’s music and background score are composed by Shashwat Sachdev. It is produced by Jyoti Deshpande (Jio Studios) and Aditya & Lokesh Dhar (B62 Studios).
