The film began streaming on Netflix on January 30, and according to Netflix’s official statistics for the period from January 30 to February 1, it recorded an impressive 7.6 million views. With this, Dhurandhar secured the No. 1 position globally in the non-English films category.
The film has achieved another major milestone by ranking No. 1 in seven countries and entering the Top 10 list in 22 countries across the world.
This marks the biggest-ever opening weekend for an Indian film on Netflix. The previous record was held by Animal, which garnered 6.2 million views. With achieving such a big milestone at start, Dhurandhar is expected to post even bigger numbers in its final Netflix viewership statistics.
