Dhurandhar, the sensational Bollywood blockbuster, has shattered several box office records and is set to take the lead over Pushpa 2 at the worldwide box office.
Earlier, Pushpa 2 and Jawan were the biggest grossers in the Hindi market, each collecting around ₹1050 crore worldwide. However, in a surprising turn of events, Dhurandhar surpassed these films a few days ago. Even in its seventh week, the movie is still posting strong box office numbers.
So far, Dhurandhar has collected ₹765 crore net in India, with a gross of ₹925 crore. Overseas, the film has earned close to ₹300 crore gross. With this, the total worldwide gross stands at around ₹1225 crore. The film is expected to add at least another ₹30 crore by the end of its theatrical run.
With this performance, Dhurandhar is set to comfortably cross ₹1250 crore in its full run, creating a margin of nearly ₹200 crore over previous industry hits like Pushpa 2 and Jawan. This achievement is even more impressive considering the film did not release in the Gulf region. With a Gulf release, the total could have reached the ₹1350 crore range.
