Recently, we saw several films including big pan India films arriving on OTT in just 4 weeks after their theatrical release. Kalki 2898 AD on the other hand went for 8 weeks theatrical window which helped the film get a big long run in theatres. NTR’s Devara will also be opting for an 8-week window.
Devara’s OTT rights have been acquired by Netflix and this Koratala Siva pan-India action entertainer will arrive on OTT only after the 8-week window. It will be released on Netflix in all languages.
Meanwhile, Devara is all set to create a box office storm. The film’s overseas s, as well as domestic bookings, are showcasing every sign of a blockbuster opening. In fact, the film is poised to create non-RRR opening records in Telugu states and cross the Rs 50 crores share barrier on the first day.
Now all eyes are on the Day 1 public talk. If positive word of mouth comes out after initial shows, then Devara will have a blockbuster run in days to come considering the Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra holidays in its week 2.
