Devara is rocking the box office making full use of Dussehra holiday advantage. The film has already grossed 400 crores worldwide. Apart from this, Devara is now eyeing to break Baahubali 1. Baahubali 1’s Telugu version made 184 crore share worldwide and broke the previous Industry record set by Attarintiki Daredi by a double margin. Devara’s share now stands at 180 crores worldwide. It is also all set to cross Baahubali 1 by today.
Records set by Baahubali were broken by the film’s director Rajamouli himself. He did it with Baahubali 2 and again with RRR. But Salaar starring Prabhas toppled Baahubali 1 for the first time without the involvement of Rajamouli. It collected more than 200 crores share in Telugu version. This record was again broken by Prabhas himself with his recent Kalki 2898 AD. Now, Devara, as said is looking to break Baahubali 1 without the involvement of both Prabhas and Rajamouli.
Yesterday Devara witnessed massive jump and collected 3.5 crores share in Telugu States thanks to Dussehra festival advantage. The total 16 days Telugu States share is 130 crores with Worldwide share being 180 crores. It needs one more big day i.e., today which will help Devara break Baahubali 1 comfortably.
