As the title reads, Devara has grossed over $ 2 million with the advance bookings of US premiere shows alone. This is an extraordinary record for any Indian film in recent times, barring Prabhas-Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD (2024) and S. S. Rajamouli’s RRR (2022).
A grand pre-release event was planned yesterday, but citing organizational failure, it has been called off.
