Nani and Vijay Deverakonda are the top runners in the tier-2 heroes in the Telugu film industry. Nani’s Dasara, HIT 3, and Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom all have crossed 30 Cr gross on Day 1 at the box office.
In Tier-2 Heroes’ films, Dasara became the 1st film to open with 30 Cr gross, as the film collected around 33 Cr gross worldwide and set a benchmark for the other Tier-2 Heroes.
Nani’s Dasara and HIT 3 Set Benchmarks for Tier-2 Heroes Opening Day
A few years later, the benchmark was again broken by Nani himself with his recent film HIT-3. The crime/survival drama collected around 37 – 38 Cr gross worldwide and set a new benchmark once again.
Now with Kingdom, Vijay Devarakonda also joins the 30 Cr opening day club, as he becomes the second hero after Nani to join this club.
