Today, Kollywood Actor Simbu announced his upcoming films, including the first-look poster of his 50th venture, STR50. The Poster revealed the film to be made on a high budget, and Simbu will also act as the producer under his new banner, Atman Cine Arts.
This film initially had Kamal Haasan as the Producer, but he later dropped out due to budget issues. So, Simbu came on board as the Producer officially for the film to handle the budget amount. It is also learned that almost a total of 150 crores will be spent on the making.
Simbu also talked about STR50, stating that they were not making a Baahubali but something that would make Tamil Cinema proud. He also said that no technician demanded remuneration till now. He also said that they didn’t want to compromise on the quality and scale of the film even with the downfall of Satellite and OTT.
The Actor also added that he took the production on himself to lower the risk for the Producers and also expressed his happiness in launching his first production film. He also quoted that they, as a team, didn’t think about the result of the film, and for being in the film industry for years, he wanted to do give it back. Simbu also hoped that the Audience would support his attempt.
