Corona has disrupted another shoot of another movie in Tollywood as director Gunasekhar was tested positive today. Gunasekhar was shooting his prestigious project Shaakuntalam when this news broke. The film starring Samantha, Dev Mohan, and Aditi Balan was grandly launched just last month.
Post this development, Gunasekhar has placed himself in complete home isolation. The shoot will resume once he is medically cleared.
Shaakuntalam is Gunasekhar’s first movie in 6 years after the 2015 period drama ‘Rudhramadevi’. It is based on a play by Kalidasa with the same name. The filming of the first schedule of the movie is underway and like his earlier films, Gunasekhar has planned grand sets for this one too. The mythological drama will be produced by Neelima Guna and Dil Raju under the banner of Gunaa Teamworks and Dil Raju’s production house.
