Superstar Rajinikanth and talented director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s action-drama Coolie is getting new highs with every promotional update. The first single, Chikitu, gives a hit vibe to Coolie.
Chikitu is perfect vibe material, as it surely grows on you once you continue to listen to it more than once. Anirudh once again delivers his best for Rajini, like always.
As said above, the hype around the film continues to grow bigger with each update. The film is scheduled to hit the big screens on August 14, 2025, clashing with Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s War 2.
As announced, the makers have now released the first single, ‘Chikitu,’ in the form of a music video. The music video features Simbu’s father, T. Rajendar, and music director Anirudh Ravichander, who imitates Thalaivar’s dance moves.

The song also has a few glimpses of Rajini’s dances, much to the excitement of fans. Overall, Chikitu gives a hit vibe to Coolie, and it is different from Anirudh’s usual high-energy mass tracks.
The lyrics were written by Arivu, with vocals rendered by Anirudh, T. Rajendar, and Arivu himself. Sun Pictures is backing this biggie. Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, and Soubin Shahir play key roles, while Aamir Khan will be seen in a cameo.
