Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie has collected around 430 Cr gross worldwide in its 1st week at the box office. If not for the drop in weekdays, this film could have done much better. Coolie beats Kamal Haasan’s Vikram and enters the Top 6 of Kollywood Grossers.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Kamal, Vikram’s lifetime collections stand at 426 Cr. The film will next chase Vijay’s GOAT (455 Cr) and Ponniyin Selvan-1 (500 Cr) and is likely to settle at the no. 4 position after 2 Point O, Jailer, and Leo.
Coolie Crosses Vikram – 500 Cr Target Yet To Be reached
With crossing Vikram’s final collections, Rajinikanth’s Coolie enters the Top-6 of Kollywood Grossers, but the film needs to see a good second weekend, as it is yet to achieve the break-even.
Only 70% of the recovery has been completed in the 1st week, and at least by the 2nd weekend, the recovery has to be more than 80% to give some relief to the buyers
