The investigation into the iBomma case, which created a sensation across the Telugu states, has intensified further with the Telangana CID entering the probe.
The agency is focusing on allegations that online gaming and betting websites were promoted through the iBomma platform. While the CID has already been investigating several cases related to betting promotions, it is now preparing to extract crucial information connected to this case.
As part of this effort, the CID has requested the Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police to provide complete details related to the accused, iBomma Ravi.
Meanwhile, the Cyber Crime Police continue to interrogate Ravi after taking him into custody for a third consecutive day. The questioning will continue today as well. During yesterday’s six-hour interrogation, officials reportedly gathered several important details. Investigators are looking into key aspects,such as the connections between Ravi and the operators of gaming apps.
With the ongoing inquiry by Cyber Crime Police and the CID now joining the investigation, authorities expect several new revelations in the coming days. The coordinated efforts of both agencies appear to be tightening the net around those who supported Ravi in the operation.
